Essential Information
Booking
To confirm a booking we ask for either a deposit cheque of the cost of the first night or credit card details via telephone (safer than e-mail). We do not take money from your card unless you cancel without a week`s notice, in which case we take the cost of the first night.
Arriving and Leaving
Arrival time is between 4pm and 6pm but we will happily welcome you earlier or later if you let us know in advance.
Departure time is less flexible since the rooms need to be cleaned for the next guests. We ask you to leave by about 10am. We will gladly look after your luggage if you want to leave Aberdyfi later in the day.

If you come by car, Aberdyfi is on the A493, between Machynlleth (9 miles) and Tywyn (4 miles). Our house is part of a Victorian terrace about 100 yards from the village centre and on the main street facing the sea. Park in the main car park (very safe) and look for our house painted light blue with a dark blue hanging sign. A car park pass, permitting free parking in long stay Gwynedd car parks, is available for a small charge.
By train is also easy. Aberdovey station is about a ten minute walk away but we will gladly collect you in the car. More...
